HOW TO DYE HAIR LIKE SION
WHICH SION'S HAIR COLOR DO YOU WANT?
This page describes how to dye hair like Sion. This hair dye method is by my practice, so you may need to adjust for your hair. Well, Let's do hair dye like Sion!
BEFORE YOU START
First, you should brighten your hair color with lightner and developer. Keep brightening your hair until it is white. I have black hair, I must bleach my hair with volume 20 developer twice. I need to bleach it more with volume 10 depending on the hair condition. When you bleach your hair, take care of your scalp and hair to prevent hair breaks the next time you bleach your hair. I use coconut oil to protect my hair and scalp. By doing this, I don't think the bleach weakens. Anyway, be aware of hair and scalp's high damage. Developer vol.30 and vol.40 are sold at the store but I don't recommend using them. They can get your hair to a high brightness at only one time, but the hair gets strong damage at the same time. And if you get uneven hair, it's a hassle to fix. That's why you shouldn't use high volume developer.
Kuranuki Masahiro who played Sion told that he had his hair broken by bleaching his hair too much to change Sion's hair color in the TV show. In any case, there are risks for anybody that bleaches hair like Sion. Be careful and enjoy!

First, let's try for the white hair from chapters 1 and 2.
Because a very light hair tone will be necessary, be careful to prevent damage to your hair and scalp.
After dying your hair platinum blond, apply purple color to neutralize the leftover yellow from your hair.
The product Manic Panic Virgin Snow exists for making hair white, but instead of that I recommend using Lie Locks together with any conditioner.
The reason is that Virgin Snow only works on hair above a certain tone, but with Lie Locks and conditioner you can adjust the ratio to match your hair's tone.
If your hair is already platinum blond a ratio of Manic Panic 0.5:9.5 Conditioner. Just a small amount of Manic Panic is fine! Dark tone hair will become silver instead of white.
If you mix in too much Manic Panic your hair will become too purple but it will become white after you shampoo a few times.
Sion's hair has a metallic purple tint in chapter 2, so if you want that color use a 1:9 ratio and you can get a pastel purple color.

Next, let's try for the light blue hair like Sion's in chapters 3-4 and 07-10. If your hair is white by the above method, dying your hair light blue will be easy.
You can do it with 2 Manic Panics and any conditioner. Mixing Atomic Turquoise and Hot Hot Pink will create a light blue color like Sion's.
First, mix Atomic Turquoise 2:1 Hot Hot Pink, then dilute the mixed Manic Panic 2:8 Conditioner and apply to your hair.
No matter how bright your hair color is Hot Hot Pink will only become a certain brightness, mixing it with a light color like Atomic Turquoise lets you adjust the brightness to create a pastel light blue with faint purple hue.

 Adore's Powder Blue seemed close to this hair color so I tried it. It seems like Adore is usually diluted before use, but when applied directly,
it first turns the hair dark purple, which then gets lighter with several shampoos to become like the color on the package. So I didn't get the hair color I wanted at first,
but after washing around 5 times I got the metallic light blue like Sion's. When I tried it without making my hair white first,
I couldn't get the color I wanted. By the way Adore's color doesn't fade as easily as Manic Panics.

Now, the method for blue hair like Sion had in only chapter 5 to 6. First make your hair white or light blond.
Like before mix 2 Manic Panic colors with any conditioner. Sion's hair at this time is a blue close to purple, so we have to make that color ourselves.
This time use Lie Locks with Atomic Turquoise. Mix the colors about 5:5 with just slightly more Atomic Turquoise.
Then, mix the mixed Manic Panic 7:3 Conditioner, and create a deeper color than last time. By mixing in Lie Locks you can add a purple color while also toning down.

 Recently, I dyed my platinum blonde hair using ADORE's LUXE BLUE, and the color after shampooing one time was very close to this Sion's color.
After coming to the twentieth century, at around the time of Chapter 5 (in March), Sion must have bought this product at some beauty supply store and dyed his hair in Tomorrow Research's bathroom.
That would mean that he dyed his hair immediately after being kidnapped in Chapter 4, but that individuality is Sion's good point.
Sion was dying his hair in the 30th century as well, and had a color similar to this one (the hair color in the still photo below),
which could mean that ADORE is still around in the 30th century and that it's Sion's favorite brand... but that's enough of that.
Anyway, this is an easier and more certain way to get Sion's blue hair color than mixing Manic Panic, and it's also just a really beautiful color,
so I strongly recommend it. However, it will result in a completely different color if your hair is less than platinum blonde, so please be careful.

This is what to use if you want the light green hair that Sion has only in the show's opening and ending videos.
Manic Panic Creamtone only works on hair that has been extremely lightened, and has had some bad reviews for this reason,
but if applied to the white blond discussed earlier, should give us a nice light green. So even though some say it doesn't color well,
if your hair is close to white the color actually comes out very well. It may actually come out darker than you think.
So for us to have the same light color as Sion, it may be best to dilute it further. Manic Panic 9:1 Conditioner should be just right.

Sion's hair settles on this color after chapter 11. This is the easiest color yet to produce, and you can continue it without too much damage.
This is because you don't have to lighten the tone of your hair too much. And it's certainly welcome, because by the time we get to this color,
our hair has surely already taken a lot of damage, There's no need to dye your hair white, and bleaching your hair once with developer vol. 20.
Mixing the toner with the developer vol. 20 means it may not be as good for your hair as Manic Panic,
but there's definitely less damage than if you had to continue bleaching your hair white and applying semi permanent dye.

This hair color doesn't appear in the TV show even once, and is only seen in the promotional still photos from before the show began.
It's a pastel blue with a light purple tint, and we should be able to create this color with ADORE's LUXE BLUE as well. I also said this in the blue hair section,
but I think there's a high chance that Sion bought and used ADORE in the 20th century.
This maker's color is close enough to Sion's blue hair and to this hair color in the still photos that we can come to that conclusion.
The difference from the blue hair is that we can get this color after using LUXE BLUE on our hair and shampooing 3 or 4 times.
You could also get this color by mixing conditioner or water into the dye before applying, but in that case the color you worked so hard to get will fade more quickly,
so please be careful. It's unrelated, but I wish there had been a depiction of Sion dying his hair in the show. I want to ask him, "Did you use ADORE?"

Any masters who have already unlocked all of Sion's hair colors and are starting to get bored can take on a new challenge by trying to recreate
the Green Time Force Ranger Trip's hair! It's actually easier to acheive than Sion's.
For green hair you don't have to lighten your hair too much and there's no need to eliminate any yellow-ness, which means it shouldn't be too damaging.
People whose hair ranges from black, like mine, to brown can get their hair light enough with one thorough use of Vol. 20 bleach. However,
if it's very orange than you should use vol. 10 one more time to raise the brightness a little. Lastly, apply Adore Electric Lime to get hair just like the Xybrian Trip!
That was easy! I recommend green hair because it doesn't fade easily, so you can keep it for a long time.
